About Ashoka care

Everyone knows that Americans are getting gray. In fact, the whole world is getting gray. Senior care is a main area which has lots of room to improve.

In the United States, Native Chinese-American seniors could hardly find their own cultural care, especially in Eugene-Springfield area. Some of the Chinese-American seniors do not or only speak little English. They are far away from their cultural familiar environment. When people getting older, their mind, thought and taste goes back to the way they grow up with. They start to miss their homeland and native culture. Their children are busy with life and work. They do not have the time to be with their elderly parents, to talk to them. They do also need care! And the majority, if not all the senior care services in town only provide cares with English culture and language. Ashoka care is built to fill this gap.

    This will be my future senior care blog. My passion about senior care is to keep seniors as much independent as they can and have quality of life even they are living in Ashoka care senior care home.

My dream of senior care 我理想的养老院

  Have my own aging in place facility is my dream. 建立一个自己的养老院是我的梦想。 It started in 2016. At that time, my parents were in their 80th and my father suffers from prostate enlargement and vascular dementia, my mother was suffered from Osteoarthritis of her knees.
